In 2005, Oprah read the riots act when she was prevented from entering Herme’s store after hours. Recently she may have come close to a thumbs down when she tried to eject a bridal party from their advance booked hotel. Oprah needed the rooms to accommodate the famous guests in the San Ysidro Ranch next to her 64 million ranch in Santa Barbara.

Oprah hosts Obama Fundraiser

Oprah, the famous host of Oprah talk show is a Barrack Obama-for-president supporter and was planning a fundraiser on Sept. 8. The fundraiser for Obama campaign is planned to be held at her Santa Barbara-adjacent estate-the San Ysidro Ranch. Quite unfortunate the ranch is fully booked for a wedding on the same dates and she won’t get the bridal party to budge an inch, reported the New York Post.

The San Ysidro’s proximity to Oprah Winfrey’s estate and its high standards Oprah's organizers for the party have been calling the bride to either move or vacate some of the rooms to get space for her guest list. The bride, who is an attorney won’t budge however.

Oprah event Organisers hassled the Bridal party for Rooms

New York’s post page six reports that Oprah Winfrey’s representatives claim they made no such calls. Surprisingly though, some rooms from the previously fully booked ranch had suddenly become free.Mmmm.

The ranch manager Marco Perry confirmed to page six “the wedding party did cancel a few rooms-but we didn’t charge them a cancellation fee because there was such a demand for the rooms that weekend”. So far there has been no explanation why the Oprah’s- Obama supporters can’t just stay at her own estate. May be Oprah Winfrey’s afraid she won’t have the peace and quiet for a weekend she is used to? Who knows?
